Accessibility Statement

We are committed to making InstantWordCount.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

Last updated: 2 July 2026

Our commitment

InstantWordCount.com is guided by the principles of WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This statement describes an ongoing improvement target, not a claim that every page or third-party component has passed an independent conformance audit.

Accessibility features

  • Keyboard access and visible focus styles for key navigation and tool controls
  • Semantic headings, labels and ARIA descriptions on core workflows
  • Responsive layouts intended to support zoom and mobile use
  • Text status messages for many canvas, image, PDF and export operations
  • Light and dark appearance options

Known limitations

Canvas-based image previews, crop guides, mask editing, zoom and pan gestures, combined-image layouts, charts and some PDF previews can provide less information to screen readers than their visual presentation. Drag interactions, very large data tables, browser-native file dialogs and third-party libraries may also vary by browser and assistive technology. Keyboard controls, numeric alternatives, labels and text status messages are provided where practical, and we continue to improve these areas.
