Help and FAQ

Answers about your work and your files.

How the tools process content, what they save, and what to check before using an export.

Privacy and local data

Does my text leave the browser?

Core word counts, writing checks and supported exports run in your browser. Hosting and asset providers still receive ordinary requests to deliver the site, fonts and optional libraries; the application does not intentionally include tool content in those requests.

What does InstantWordCount save locally?

Saved drafts, preferences, some settings and optional history use browser storage. Active image and PDF queues are generally held in memory while the page is open. See the privacy policy for storage categories and retention details.

Do the tools use external AI APIs?

No third-party photo upload API is used for background removal. The browser downloads code and model assets, then processes the selected photo on your device. Asset providers receive the download request, not an intentional upload of the selected photo.

Do I need an account or login?

No account is required for normal tool use. A private testing preview may have a separate access password.

How do I clear locally saved data?

Use the tool’s clear or reset actions where available, or clear site data in your browser settings. Clearing browser storage can permanently remove saved projects and preferences, so export anything you need first.

Is analytics enabled right now?

No active product analytics script is enabled in the current site. The cookie and storage policy explains the site’s browser storage. Ordinary hosting and asset requests still occur.

Writing and publishing

Is this only a word counter?

No. There is also a writing workspace, text cleanup, SEO review, metadata and social previews, image tools, PDF tools and publishing utilities. Browse the tools to choose a task.

Who is the website made for?

Writers, editors, students, marketers and creators who need to draft, review or prepare everyday publishing files.

What is the best way to use the tools together?

Start in the writing workspace, then choose the helper that matches your next task. For example, review an outline, prepare metadata, and resize a supporting image. You decide when to copy, move or export content.

Can I export my work and stats?

The workspace provides text, Markdown and backup options. Other tools offer their own supported downloads, including images, PDFs, text files and ZIP batches. Check the export controls in the tool you are using.

Does QR Studio track scans or create dynamic QR redirects?

No. QR codes are static and encode the destination directly. InstantWordCount does not receive scan events, offer scan analytics or change a generated code’s destination later.

Images and photos

What can Image Studio do?

Convert, compress, resize and crop images, with additional options for watermarking, combining, metadata cleanup and batch output. Combination layouts include grids and contact sheets. Choose the operation and supported export format inside Image Studio.

What background editing is supported?

The background and photo tools support browser-side removal or replacement with the available backgrounds. Hair, shadows and low-contrast edges can need manual review. Inspect the exported image before using it.

Are passport, ID and marketplace presets guaranteed to be accepted?

No. Presets help with dimensions and layout. Requirements vary and can change; background, expression, head size, file size and printing may all matter. Check the issuing authority’s current requirements before submitting.

Are image and PDF conversions lossless?

Some page operations can preserve source content, but compression, resizing, rendering or changing formats can alter pixels or structure. Keep the original and compare the exported result, especially for small text and fine details.

PDFs, downloads and troubleshooting

What can PDF Studio do?

Merge, split, extract, remove, reverse or rotate pages; render pages as images; extract selectable text; and build PDFs from images. Unlock password-protected PDFs before upload. Scans need OCR elsewhere, and browser libraries may not support every PDF.

What file formats are supported in the conversion tools?

Each tool lists its accepted inputs and export formats. Common workflows use PDF, JPG, PNG, WebP and text-based outputs; support also depends on the browser. A Word-compatible export of PDF text does not preserve the original page layout.

What should I do if a result looks wrong?

Check the source, chosen operation and export settings. Try a smaller or different file. For PDF text extraction, confirm the text can be selected. If the problem persists, email support with the tool name, browser and a description of the issue.

Can I cancel a large image or PDF job?

Cancellation is available where the workflow can stop between files or pages. A running browser encoder or library step may finish before stopping. Wait for the final status and check any downloaded file before clearing the queue.

How is the website secured?

The site uses encrypted connections and browser security controls, with practical file limits. Local processing reduces unnecessary content transfer but does not remove every risk. Keep an updated browser and original backups; see the security policy for reporting instructions.
